Hi, I’m Marko Jurisic, the founder of Flow Samurai, a Webflow Partner-Certified agency focused on delivering exceptional web design solutions. My latest project, SAMURAI+, is a subscription-based platform that provides premium Webflow and Framer templates, complete with Figma design files, to empower designers and developers. With over 100 templates, lifetime access, and monthly updates, SAMURAI+ offers a growing library of professional, customizable designs that streamline the creative process. I created SAMURAI+ to address a common frustration in the design community: the lack of affordable, high-quality templates available under a single subscription. Having worked extensively with Webflow and Framer, I noticed how much time creators spend searching for or building templates from scratch. My goal was to build a one-stop solution that saves time, boosts productivity, and makes premium design resources accessible to everyone—whether you’re a solo freelancer or part of a larger team. It’s my way of giving back to the community while solving a real pain point.
What problems did Memberstack help you to solve?
Before Memberstack, managing subscriptions and user access for SAMURAI+ was shaping up to be a major challenge. Without it, I’d have had to build a custom backend or rely on patchwork solutions—think manual user management, separate payment platforms, and clunky access controls. This would have meant hiring a developer, spending months on setup, and dealing with ongoing maintenance, all of which would’ve delayed our launch and eaten into our budget. Memberstack solved these problems by providing an all-in-one solution. It streamlined subscription management with Stripe integration, automated user access based on membership tiers, and eliminated the need for custom coding. For example, premium subscribers instantly get access to all templates, while free users are restricted—all handled automatically. This saved us time, reduced errors, and let us launch a polished product faster. Without Memberstack, SAMURAI+ wouldn’t be the smooth, scalable platform it is today.
What are your favorite things about Memberstack? Why?
One of my favorite things about Memberstack is its seamless integration with Webflow, which made setting up SAMURAI+’s subscription model a breeze. As a Webflow Partner, I appreciate how it lets us manage user access and subscriptions without leaving the Webflow ecosystem or needing complex custom code. This integration saved us countless hours and allowed us to focus on designing great templates instead of wrestling with backend logistics. I also love Memberstack’s flexibility in handling membership tiers. For SAMURAI+, we offer free, premium, and all-access plans, and Memberstack makes it easy to define what each tier can access—like restricting free users to a few templates while giving premium subscribers the full library. The secure user authentication and smooth onboarding process (like redirecting users to personalized dashboards) are huge bonuses too. These features are my favorites because they directly enhance the user experience on SAMURAI+, making it reliable, professional, and easy to scale.
How I Built This-
Building SAMURAI+ was a rewarding process that combined some of the best tools in the industry. Here’s how I brought it to life:
Webflow as the Core: I used Webflow to design and host SAMURAI+. Its CMS powers our template library, letting us categorize and update designs easily. As a Webflow Partner, I leveraged its visual design tools to create a sleek, user-friendly front end that showcases our templates beautifully.
Memberstack for Subscriptions: Memberstack is the backbone of our user management system. It handles sign-ups, logins, and tiered access—free users get limited templates, while premium subscribers unlock everything. Its integration with Webflow was seamless, and it automates the entire subscription process, from onboarding to access control.
Stripe for Payments: Through Memberstack, I integrated Stripe to process payments. It securely manages recurring subscriptions (monthly and annual plans) and one-time purchases, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our users.
Figma for Design Files: Since SAMURAI+ offers Figma files with our templates, Figma is a key part of our workflow. Users can download these files directly from the platform to customize designs for their projects.
Custom JavaScript: To enhance functionality, I added custom code—like dynamic filters for browsing templates and smooth page transitions. This keeps the site interactive and engaging without overcomplicating the build.
MAKE for Automation Workflows: To keep everything running smoothly, I use MAKE to automate key workflows. It connects our tools—like Webflow, Memberstack, and Stripe—triggering actions based on user behavior. For example, when a user upgrades their plan, MAKE automatically updates their access in Webflow. This saves us time and ensures a seamless experience for our subscribers.

Analytics Suite: Understanding our users is critical, so I’ve set up a robust analytics stack:Posthog: For in-depth product analytics, tracking how users interact with our template library and dashboard.
Google Analytics (GA): To monitor website traffic, user demographics, and behavior flows.Google Search Console (GSC): For SEO insights, helping us optimize our site’s visibility in search results.
Meta Pixel: To track conversions from our ads (e.g., sign-ups and template downloads) and optimize our marketing campaigns.
These tools work together to give us a 360-degree view of our users—from acquisition to engagement—helping us make data-driven decisions to grow SAMURAI+. The integration is seamless: Webflow handles design and hosting, Memberstack manages users and access, Stripe processes payments, Figma supports our design assets, MAKE automates workflows, and our analytics suite ensures we’re always learning and improving. The result is a fast, secure, and user-friendly platform that delivers premium templates effortlessly.
