Who you are, what does your project do, and why did you build it?

Connect Event is an all-in-one platform for NDIS Networking Events, Conferences, Expos, Open Days and Meet-Ups. I found there was so many different events in so many different places. Connect Event is the solution! We provide an exclusive space for professionals, caregivers, leaders and participants in the disability support sector to connect, learn, and grow. Our mission is to facilitate meaningful interactions and opportunities, highlighting the latest trends, insights, and advancements in the NDIS landscape.

‍What problems did Memberstack help you to solve?

Prior to Memberstack, the process to become a member of my platform had too many steps and was very slow. Memberstack cut out everything that was unnecessary and made it much easier for users. It also helped grow my business by capturing payment information early in the process so members didn't leave before subscribing.

What are your favourite things about Memberstack? Why are those your favourites?

Memberstack is simple and user friendly. Cuts out a lot of the steps between a member subscribing and paying for access to the membership. It is easy to integrate with my website, customisable to my specific needs for the platform I created and the dashboard made it easy to see all the necessary analytics for me to grow my business.

How I built this...

I used webflow to create my website and all the relevant pages on my site. I then used event calendar app for the calendar part of my subscription page which was added by code. The restricted page was gated on Memberstack and linked with Stripe to make it payment gated content. Finally, I used Make to link all subscribers to mailchimp for marketing purposes.
