Who you are, what does your project do, and why did you build it?
I’m Dominic Ewer, a 3D designer and creative developer, and the founder of 3D Logo Lab. My project enables businesses and designers to instantly transform 2D logos into interactive 3D animations, all within a web-based tool. I built it because I saw a gap in the market. Most 3D design tools are too complex for beginners, and require a time consuming rendering process. 3D Logo Lab makes high-quality 3D logos accessible to anyone, with no software installation required.
What problems did Memberstack help you to solve?
Before using Memberstack, I needed a way to offer tiered access to my tool without coding a full membership system from scratch. Memberstack helped me:- Implement a seamless login and signup process- Restrict access to premium features based on user plans- Manage payments and subscriptions easily. It saved me time and allowed me to focus on improving the product instead of handling authentication and payments manually.
What are your favorite things about Memberstack and why?
One of my favorite things about Memberstack is how seamlessly it integrates with Webflow, allowing me to manage user authentication and subscriptions without complex backend development. The ability to customize the user experience and protect premium features makes it perfect for a tool like 3D Logo Lab.
How I built this -
I built the website using Webflow for the UI and Memberstack for user authentication and subscriptions. The core 3D functionality runs in the browser, ensuring a smooth experience without requiring users to install any software.
Webflow – Designed and built the frontend, including landing pages and the app interface
Memberstack – Handles user authentication, membership plans, and gated content
Stripe – Processes payments for premium users
Other tools – Integrated analytics and automation tools to optimize user experience
By combining these no-code and low-code tools, I was able to launch 3D Logo Lab quickly while keeping it scalable.
