Import Free and Paid Members in One Step
Upload a CSV with up to 10,000 rows. Include email addresses, passwords (or hashed passwords from Memberstack 1.0), custom fields, plan assignments, and Stripe data.
Migrating from Memberstack 1.0?
The CSV export from version 1.0 already contains all the required columns. Export from 1.0, import into 2.0. If you have members with active free trials, contact support first since trial days can't be preserved during import.

Important
Paid imports only work when the plan exists in both Memberstack and Stripe. Use the Import Stripe Product tool to sync everything first.

Heads up
When importing paid members, the customer.subscription.updated event fires in Stripe. Turn off any Make or Zapier scenarios using this event during import to avoid unintended automations.
Import Errors
If an import has errors, you'll receive an email with the count of successful imports and a list of failures with reasons.
| Error | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Missing email | Every row needs an email address |
| Duplicate email | Member already exists in your Memberstack app |
| Invalid Stripe Customer ID | Customer doesn't exist in your connected Stripe account |
| Failed subscription update | Subscription not found (usually cancelled subscriptions) |
Members with failed subscription imports still get imported with their Stripe customer data and payment info, but without a plan assignment. You can assign plans manually afterward.
