So, it’s 2025, and you’re using Webflow - that’s awesome, but things just aren’t the same as they were a few years ago.
With the rise of AI tools, Webflow is evolving as an industry - and you will need to evolve too!
While it might sound scary, really this just means you’re going to save a ton of time and get to build better sites for your clients even faster.
Let’s get into it now - stay tuned for #3, because if you haven’t used it, it is going to change your life.
#1 - Webflow MCP
MCP sounds fancy, but really it’s just how Webflow allows AI to interact with it’s API - meaning, taking actions in Webflow on your behalf.
With the Webflow MCP server, you can add AI into your workflow in a ton of different ways. Personally, my favorite one that I’ve encountered so far is setting up my CMS structure. Pretty much every site has a blog, a team members collection, and certain things like that - now, with the Webflow MCP, you just need to hook it up to your AI and tell it what you want. Along with that, you can even have it generate those CMS items for you - but be careful generating content with AI. Google knows when you just generated a blog post with one prompt. AI should be helping you be more productive, not replacing you.
If you’re interested in the Webflow MCP, go to the link in the description to watch the video of me trying it out for the first time.
#2 - Webflow Cloud
Webflow Cloud is an absolute game changer, even though it technically doesn’t touch ‘Webflow’ - let me explain.
Here at Memberstack, we have our markting site - memberstack.com - and along with that, we have our app. The app has to live on app.memberstack.com because our app unfortunately can’t be built in Webflow. So, that means that your site and your app are like Romeo and Juliet, they want to be together, but they can’t.
That’s where Webflow Cloud comes in - to put it simply, it allows you to build a custom web app and then host it under your Webflow domain, like memberstack.com/app.
That’s super exciting, but where does AI come in to play?
Well… VIBE CODING!
If you’re not familiar with the term, as ridiculous as it may sound, it’s huge - basically, AI has come so far that you can just write code with basic language and requests, or ‘vibes’. I’ve been super into vibe coding lately - the most popular tool is probably Cursor, and I personally use Claude Code.
If you want to learn how to go from 0 to launched with Webflow Cloud, watch the video at the link in the description.
#3 - Relume
You’ve probably heard of Relume - but have you used it recently? What started as a simple Webflow component library has transformed into, in my opinion, the BEST way to build a Webflow site, period.
Start with a prompt - get a sitemap. Refine your sitemap and move onto the wireframes. Once you’re happy with the wireframes, move on to the style guide - and finally, export the entire thing to Webflow in one click with the Relume app.
The thing I love about Relume is that it was made by a Webflow agency - and you can tell. It’s built to give you, the professional, all the control - while allowing AI to take over the heavy lifting.
I seriously cannot speak highly enough about relume - if you haven’t seen it yet, watch my video where I build a full Webflow site from scratch with it in just a few minutes.
There are new Webflow + AI tools popping up every single day, and this is by no means an exhaustive list. What did I miss? Let me know in the comments below, and as always, have a great day!
