Creating discount coupons and promo codes on Stripe is pretty easy. This guide walks you through the setup so you can start running promotions in minutes.
If you are in test mode in Memberstack, create coupons in Stripe's test mode too.
Create a Coupon in Stripe
Head to Stripe's coupon section and set your discount type, duration, and redemption limits. Percentage or fixed amount — your call.
Create a Promo Code
Link a customer-facing promo code to your coupon. This is the code your members will actually type in — like "LAUNCH20" or "ANNUAL50".
Members Apply at Checkout
The promo code field appears automatically in your Memberstack checkout flow. Members enter the code and the discount is applied instantly.
