Introduction:
I’m Steven Smith, founder of MyCorner.
MyCorner makes combat sports more open and discoverable. It gives fight fans a better way to find, follow and connect with the fighters they believe in, while giving fighters a direct way to grow their audience, build a following and bring more people into their Corner.
I built MyCorner because so many fighters have incredible stories, but unless they are already signed, promoted, sponsored or well connected, they can be difficult for fans, brands and their own local communities to discover. MyCorner gives each fighter a professional profile where they can share their story, videos, record, background, team, supporters and journey in one place.
The platform is built for every fighter with a story to tell and every fan who wants to be part of it. Fans can create an account, follow fighters, like videos and join a fighter’s Corner. Fighters can manage their profile, share their videos and grow a visible base of fans and supporters around them.

What Problems Did Memberstack Help You To Solve?
Memberstack helped solve one of the biggest problems with MyCorner: turning a content-heavy Webflow site into a working product with real user accounts.
Without Memberstack, I would have needed to build authentication, login, member types, gated content, profile access, user data and account security from scratch. That would have taken much longer and would have made the platform far more complicated to maintain as a solo founder.
MyCorner needs fighters to be able to create accounts, complete onboarding, edit their own profiles securely and manage their presence on the platform. It also needs fans to be able to create accounts, follow fighters, like videos and build their own connection to the fighters they support.
Memberstack helped make all of that possible while still letting me keep the design and CMS flexibility of Webflow. It allowed MyCorner to move from being a directory of fighters into a more interactive platform where fighters and fans can both have their own accounts, actions and experiences.

What Are Your Favorite Things About Memberstack?
Memberstack powers the member layer behind MyCorner, including fighter accounts, fan accounts, login, gated member actions and member-specific experiences. That meant I could keep building in Webflow while still giving users a proper account-based experience.
I also like how flexible Memberstack is. MyCorner has two different types of users: fighters and fans. Fighters need onboarding, profile management and secure editing. Fans need a simpler experience where they can follow fighters, like videos and be part of the community. Memberstack made it possible to manage those different journeys without having to build a full authentication system from scratch.
The other big thing is how well Memberstack works with Webflow and other tools. MyCorner uses Webflow CMS, Make automations, Tally forms, Bunny video, Stripe Connect and custom scripts, and Memberstack sits at the centre of that experience by connecting users to the right flows, actions and data.

How I Built This:
MyCorner was built in Webflow, with Memberstack powering the member account layer.
The first stage was building the core Webflow CMS structure. I created CMS collections for fighters, videos, locations, sports and profile content, then built the public pages around discovery. Fans can browse fighter profiles, watch videos, filter by discipline, level, gender, location and other profile details, and discover fighters through pages such as Fighters, Videos, Boxing, MMA and city-based location pages.
Memberstack was then added to create the account system. MyCorner has separate experiences for fighters and fans. Fighters can sign up, complete onboarding and manage their profile. Fans can sign up, choose their combat sports interests, follow fighters, like videos and build their own fan profile.
Tally is used for onboarding and profile forms. When a fighter completes onboarding, Make automations pass the data into Webflow CMS, create or update the fighter profile, and connect the right profile data back to the Memberstack member. Fighters can also securely edit parts of their profile, such as their About section, photos, record proof and other details.
For video, MyCorner uses Bunny.net to host and stream fighter videos. The Videos page and fighter profile video sections have been built around a custom video player experience, with improved playback quality and sharing features so fighter content is easier to watch and share.
Stripe Connect is used for the payment side. When a fan joins a fighter’s Corner, the payment is handled through Stripe Connect, with 80% going to the fighter and 20% going to MyCorner. This means fighters do not need to share card details with MyCorner, and payouts can be handled securely through Stripe’s onboarding and backend systems.
Memberstack also helps power gated and member-specific actions across the platform, such as following fighters, liking videos and connecting users to the right onboarding or profile-editing flows. The result is a Webflow-built platform that works more like a real product: fighters can create and manage their profile, fans can interact with fighters, and MyCorner can keep growing as a community around combat sports.
