Why/Use Cases

- Improve UX.

- Reduce friction for users, especially when presented with many inputs/forms on a page.

Creating a form that submits when inputs are changed on a Webflow site

Instead of having users manually submit their inputs, you may sometimes prefer to automatically submit them as they’re filled in to improve your site’s UX by reducing friction.

This guide will help you do just that and this will work with any kind of form, not just Webflow forms.

To create a form that submits when inputs change on your Webflow site, we’re going to use MemberScript #130 – Auto Submit Form When All Inputs Change. Follow the link to get the code you’ll need to add to your page and watch a video tutorial on how to set everything up.

Setting it up

After creating and styling your form, literally all you have to do is add this attribute to it:

· ms-code-auto-submit

With that attribute there, the form will automatically be submitted once all its fields have been filled in.

Making it work

Now that you’ve got everything set up in Webflow, all you need to do is add the MemberScript #130 custom code to your page, before the closing body tag.

Conclusion

That’s everything, you can now go ahead and test the form on your live site.

If you want to use our demo project to get you started, just click the button below to add it to your Webflow site.

Our demo can help you create a form that automatically submits when its inputs are changed on your Webflow site.
