We put the Webflow MCP (Mission Control Panel) to the test with Molly, a Webflow user who is completely new to the Client-first system. Watch this live build to see if Claude AI can guide her to create a perfectly structured, Client-first compliant landing page from scratch.

Setting Up the Webflow MCP from Scratch:

"We are just starting from absolute scratch here. Okay, now I can see your screen. Okay, so first thing is go ahead and clone the client first clonable. So we're going to do that even before we get the MCP set up."

Preparing the Project and Deleting Placeholders:

"So open the navigator in Webflow the like the three lines. Oh, not those two. There you go. And then open page wrapper. And I just want to like start from a fresh slate here. So I want to get rid of the nav and I want to get rid of the hero section."

Building the Hero Section with a Simple Prompt:

"Now, think of Building the Hero Section with a Simple Prompt something you want to build and then ask Claude to build it. Don't mention client first yet. Think about it. Don't say a whole page, just a section. Like, I'm making a site for this. Can you make me a hero section?"

Customizing the Design and Adding Images:

"So, now go ahead and find a picture of a cow and pop that in there. We got to make this site. We got to make it proper. Cow photos."

Using the MCP to Change the Color Theme:

"Now, go to the MCP and say, "Right now, my site, again, some variation of this, doesn't have to be the exact same, and delete the cow thing from your your message. say something along the lines of like, "My site has a blue theme right now that just doesn't look like a dairy farm. Can you use a brown and orange colors?"

Creating a New "About Us" Section:

"Okay. So, now let's go ahead and say below the hero section. Could you make me a nice section"

Final Review: Is it Perfect Client-First?:
