Blog Template (data tables)

This is a blog with two kinds of member. Anyone can sign up, read every post and join the discussion in comments that nest two levels deep. Publishing is held behind a Writer plan, so only the people you approve can create and edit posts.

Posts live in three Memberstack Data Tables instead of the Webflow CMS. Your writers draft in a rich text editor on the front end, save drafts, and publish when they are ready, without ever opening the Designer. Memberstack enforces ownership on top of the plan, so a writer can edit and delete only their own work, and a reader who reaches a create or edit URL directly is redirected away.

Nine pages cover the whole flow: sign up, sign in, forgot password, reset password, all posts, my drafts, post detail, new post, edit post. Category filters, pagination, loading and empty states, and toast confirmations are already wired.

Six scripts do the data work. Each sits in the page head with a comment block at the top explaining what it reads and writes, and every element a script touches carries a custom attribute, so nothing is buried in a class name. Install the free xAttribute app and you can see every custom attribute in the site from one panel instead of clicking through elements one at a time. If you use Claude, connect the site with the Webflow MCP and paste in a page script, and it will explain what each attribute does and where to change it.

Class naming follows Client First. Colour comes from seven scheme modes, so swapping the brand colour and three tile tints recolours the template without opening a single component.
